Head of retail business
We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Head of Retail Business—a key executive role responsible for overseeing the bank’s retail operations across branches and digital channels. This individual will drive retail strategy, enhance service delivery, grow the customer base, and ensure high performance across the retail portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Amio Bank’s comprehensive retail strategy—including branch banking, digital channels, deposits, loans, and other retail services
- Drive growth in retail liabilities and assets while maintaining a diversified, risk-conscious portfolio
- Lead retail transformation through digitization, innovation, and data-driven decision-making
- Elevate the customer experience across all touchpoints: branches, mobile and internet banking, and call centers
- Monitor and manage performance through KPIs, dashboards, and team accountability
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls across all retail activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, credit, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Build and lead high-performing, customer-focused retail teams across a nationwide branch network
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to proactively shape strategies
- Manage the retail banking budget and contribute to the bank’s overall profitability
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in banking, with at least 5 years in a senior retail leadership role
- Proven track record in leading multi-branch operations and digital retail platforms
- Deep expertise in retail banking products, customer segmentation, and service delivery models
- Experience in digital transformation, process improvement, and fintech partnerships is a strong plus
- Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks and retail risk management practices
