System Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• • Design, implement, and maintain the Bank’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Firewall systems.
  • Administer and monitor servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage systems.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of IT systems and services.
  • Deploy security solutions, manage access controls, and perform regular system audits.
  • Troubleshoot network and system issues, performing root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure upgrade projects and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and collaborate with external vendors when needed.

Required Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network/system administration or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPN technologies, and network security solutions.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana, ELK) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, MCSA, RHCSA) will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Armenian, Russian. English is a plus.
